During my work day I take a short walk outside the concrete confines of the data center, my home is filled with plants, hell even my walls are green ( a tasteful olive green if you were wondering). As little as 17 minutes a day in some type of green space environment may yield personal well-being benefits (5). If you are living in an environment that is lacking in these spaces or these spaces are unbearable to spend time in due to crap weather (I feel for you Minnesotans!) I encourage you to seek out places like indoor garden centers, botanical gardens, or even create a small green space environment in your home. You deserve to live a healthier and reduced stress life!
